October 24, 2022 A.I. Ageev took part in the seventh meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council under the Chairman of the EEC Board.

Member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC S.Yu. Glaziev; on the priority pilot project “Russian Technologies: Effective Transition to a Hydrogen Economy” – President of the Club of the Imperial Technical School A.V. Dolgolaptev; on the creation of a mechanism for the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, investment and scientific and technological consortiums – the first vice-rector of the University at the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the EurAsEC E.E. Lanina and other experts.

The Scientific and Technical Council under the Chairman of the EEC Board has been formed as an open discussion and consultative platform for discussing from scientific and expert points of view a wide range of issues of Eurasian economic integration and further development of the Eurasian Economic Union. Members of the Council consider models and forms of economic integration, discuss topical issues of the development of the world economy and global challenges, study effective regulatory practices of international integration associations, develop proposals for the development of interaction between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union in promising areas of economic integration. The activities of the Council contribute to the improvement of the work of the Commission related to scientific research and projects.

The Council is headed by the Chairman of the EEC Board M.V. Myasnikovich, his deputy is a member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics S.Yu. Glaziev.

The Presidium of the Council is formed on the basis of equal representation of the EAEU member states from the deputy heads of state bodies in the field of science and higher education, heads of national academies of sciences, as well as members of the EEC Board (as agreed).
