Cosmonautics day in the rocket and space corporation “Energia”

12 April 2018 on the Day of Astronautics, the General director of IRIAS Alexander Ageev with a group of veterans of space science and industry visited the SP “Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation “Energia”.

12 April 1961 Yuri Gagarin, a citizen of the Soviet Union, who had the rank of senior lieutenant, on the ship “Vostok” was the first person to make a space flight in orbit around the Earth. Thus, he opened the era of space flights on manned spacecraft. In the world, this day, at the initiative of the UN General Assembly, is proclaimed the International Day of Human Spaceflight.
