International Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy

November 7-10, 2022 at the University of Dunaújváros (Hungary) is the week of Science. This is a whole range of events, including plenary and breakout sessions, as well as Career Day. One of the significant events in the program is the International Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy. Speakers include Pal Kovacs, Vice President of the Hungarian Energy and Utilities Regulatory Authority, Brianna Lazerwitz, International Atomic Energy Agency, Alexander Putilov, Dean of the Faculty of Business Informatics and Complex Systems Management, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Istvan Szabo, Director General for Nuclear and International Affairs of the University of Dunaújváros.

Discussed were new challenges in the energy market, the role of nuclear energy in a decarbonized European energy mix, and education in the nuclear industry.

The conference was attended by the General Director of MRIAS A.I. Ageev. As part of the activities, an agreement on cooperation was signed between MRIAS and Dunayváros University.
