At the exhibition “Chemistry-2022” a round table “Business and Science: Effective Interaction” was held, organized by Expocentre JSC in partnership with the International Association “Women in the Nuclear Industry”, the International Research Institute for Management Problems (IRIPU), the Institute of Silicate Chemistry RAS, Moscow Innovation Agency.
The event was moderated by Evgenia Enshina, head of the Russian branch of the International Association “Women of the Nuclear Industry”. Mikhail Gerasimov, Director of the Center for Coordinating Scientific and Technological Cooperation Projects of MRIAS, answered the questions whether formal and informal communities are needed for effective communication between business and science and what should be the main mission, goals, objectives, tools in organizing financing.
Alina Boldyreva, director of the marketing department of the Finval machine-tool holding, joined the discussion with the topic of the readiness of science to cooperate with business and how much science should change in order to become interesting for business; Vera Myasoedova, Chief Researcher, Institute of Chemical Physics named after N.N. Semenov, and the head of the digital transformation department of the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov Mikhail Nechaevsky. Natalya Tyurnina, Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Silicate Chemistry named after I.V. Grebenshchikov.
The participants of the round table discussed topical issues of interest to a professional audience.
